Nguma-Monene means "Large python or boa." Nguma-Monene is noted to have similar external features to those of
Mbielu-Mbielu-Mbielu, and lives in the roughly same region as Mbielu-Mbielu-Mbielu and
Mokele-Mbembe. Nguma-Monene is said to live in the
Dongou-Mataba River, a
tributary of the
Ubangi River.
Nguma-Monene has been noted to have a forked toungue, like that of a snake, and has been said to be between 40 and 60 meters.
