Trimethoprim is an antibiotic apparently only used for urinary tract infections, manufactured as Trimpex, or in combination with sulfamethoxazole to create Sulfameth/Trimethoprim (TMP/SMX) which is a sulfa drug commonly manufactured as Bactrim, Septra, or Cotrim, among others.
