look at all the little kids cheer
they like to learn and dance and play
they are all so happy and gay


Ok, I didn't know that gay could imply homosexual .. I didn't even know what a homosexual was when I was in kindergarden.. the funny part is I went to a catholic school.. and they questioned me on my word usage.. I was very confused

Poor little lamb,
drinking at the water,
next to a shed
labelled "Animal Slaughter"

I must have been a very disturbed little boy.

I also had similar radical ideas about poems featuring playing gay children. "The Children came out to play, in the leaves happy and gay"
