AZX Inc. was formed in 1990 to operate the Arizona Stock Exchange, an electronic single price auction trading system.

All AZX orders (on NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX) are limit-or-better orders that are "live" (at the net) only at the instant in time when the auction ends.
