I've always been a little literal minded.

Apparently, public executions in China consist of a single shot to the back of the head with a revolver. Gangland style. Simple as that, nothing too complicated, nothing too fancy; no electric chairs or lethal injections. That's the injury.

Here's the insult: The family of the deceased is then billed for the cost of the bullet so that the execution doesn't become a burden to the government. Ouch.
