First up a small disclaimer:
Any injury you cause to yourself or others whilst carrying out these techniques I'm not accountable for and any damage caused to the rifle I'm also not accountable for it. If your CO or any other supervising responsible person moans at you, tough cookie ;).
Also note that these techniques will only work for rifles with a cocking method similair to that of
L98A1 Cadet GP Rifles. And in the case anyone messages me advising not to use the last two, read the disclaimer, it's there for a reason...
There are three ways of which there are to load a weapon, two of which are original and the ones requiring the disclaimer. The first way is the normal way which is to grasp the
cocking handle with your middle and forefinger, like a
bird claw, and to pull it to the extreme rear aqnd release the working parts to the forward. Now everyone is taught that and that's the first method the other two are slightly different and can be used to work as an effective melee technique and cocking method.
The second method is to firmly grip the barrel nearing the end of the muzzle and hold it so that the
butt faces the ground. Then with all your force slam the butt as hard and as fast into the ground as possible. this will force the spring to compress, the working parts to the rear and the rifle to become
cocked. This can be used to slam into a person on the ground to check if he's feigning his death and then if he is the person will let out screams of pain and you can shoot him.
The third way is a bit more creative and can knock a person unconcious or even dead. This time you grip the end of the barrel nearing the
muzzle much like method two but with two hands and you hold it so the butt is upright, much like a sword. Then what you do is take a small run up to the target or the air and swing it much like a olympic hammer throw, except you don't release it... If done with enough force and power the same will happen as the second method and the rifle will be cocked whilst causing some damage to the person.
Although both of these methods sound a bit crazy they work superbly and at most only scuff the butt a bit but then again it's nothing important. using these alternative cocking methods it's also possible to take hold of two single shot rifles and be able to fire and reload them without the need of both hands...
