Arthur Brown's bluesy arias were unparalleled; East of Eden were early-progressive. The Beatles birthed it, with the "Strawberry Fields Forever"/"Penny Lane" 45, and walked away after Magical Mystery Tour, but numerous legends and one-hit wonders camped out here.
