Carl Philip Emanuel Bach, the oldest and probably the most well-known of the musically inclined sons of Johann Sebastian Bach (aside from P.D.Q. Bach).

He was mainly a composer of instrumental music during the late baroque/early classical era. One of the forerunners of the "Sturm und Drang" style and quite influential on later composers.
