In the Babylon 5 universe, the government of the Centauri. Headed by a hereditary emperor, backed by a Prime Minister and other ministers, as well as an elected assembly (the Centaurum).

The Republic had been in decline for centuries when Londo Mollari enlisted the aid of the Shadows in igniting the Narn-Centauri War, in an attempt to regain the Republic's former glory. This was unsuccessful, and the Republic continued its decline.
