The Cleveland Rams were Cleveland's first professional American Football team. They played at Municipal Stadium from 1937 through their NFL championship winning 1945 season. In 1946, they moved to Los Angeles and became the Los Angeles Rams. They were immediately replaced by the Cleveland Browns of the All-America Football Conference.
