In general i find it very fun to dye my hair strange colors... right now mine is orange/red and looks like it's on fire. The reactions i get from people are generally cool, it gives random people an excuse to come talk to me. It scares away some old prudish people, but i doubt i'd want to talk to them anyway. But the most humorous conversations come about when every once in a while I come across a really dumb person.

My girlfriend has green hair, really bright green hair, and this summer mine was really bright blue. One hot day we were at a campground in a redneck-infested area and were walking to the bathroom when a girl walked up and asked us if my girlfriend's hair was naturally that color. when we looked at this confused person in a funny way she asked us if we had dumped paint in our hair. very strange....
