Canadian television and stage actress, born Cynthia Ciurluini in 1960 in Etobicoke (Toronto) Canada.

Cynthia Dale started appearing on TV shows and commercials as a child, alongside her sister and fellow Canadian actress Jennifer Dale. She appeared frequently on venerable Canadian classics like The Tommy Hunter Show and Wayne & Shuster comedy specials.

As an adult, she appeared in cult-classic horror flick My Bloody Valentine and starred as Samantha in 1984's Heavenly Bodies.

Cynthia starred on TV in the CBC drama Street Legal as villainous Olivia Novak from 1988 until 1994, for which she received three Gemini Award nominations. She later took a good-guy role in the single season of Niagara Falls based CTV series Taking The Falls. She has appeared at the Stratford Festival from 1997 until 2007, and briefly hosted her own variety show, Cynthia, also on CBC-TV.

She is married to CBC TV news anchor Peter Mansbridge, with whom she has one child, Will.
