An unusually lighthearted series by Jack Chalker. This is essentially a spoof on a lot of the other general sf, sword-and-sorcery, horror, etc. The books contain a healthy dose of transformation, alternate universes, reinterpretation of religious beliefs, and such that you'd normally expect from Chalker, as well as some real groaner puns.
