A humorous short story written by Roger Moore (not the same as Roger Moore) about a "Monty Haul"-type Advanced Dungeons and Dragons campaign that appeared in the October 1980 issue of Dragon magazine. A group of ridiculously powerful characters set off on their latest adventure, only to get the snot beaten out of them. The day is won by a new player and his seemingly weak dwarf character -- the punchline being that the "dwarf" is actually Bes, the Egyptian god of luck.
