The lowest-ranking card in the deck. When two Arizona ranchers were settling an argument by drawing low cards, one of them drew the two of clubs, automatically winning the contest. As a result, the town was named Show Low, and the main drag was called Deuce of Clubs Way. The term was also used in reform school as a euphemism for using both fists.
