DirectQB is a
graphics and
sound library for
QuickBasic. It is completely written in
386 assembly language, so it can be quite fast. It is somewhat like
Allegro, but made for
BASIC. It isn't
spectacular, but it is
free and the best thing available for
QuickBasic, certainly much better than the
QB drawing
primitives.
