An ad campaign for the American Express card, once upon a time, resurrected in various forms since the early 80's, IIRC. It featured not-quite-celebrities - cult figures or people whose 15 minutes of fame came and went before you were born. An example: William E. Miller, Barry Goldwater's 1964 running mate; he's now 90s-famous for being Stephanie Miller's dad. Do you know her? Not to be confused with "Do you know who I am?", chanted by a celebrity (often a pro athlete) at an arresting officer.
