Dragons of Heaven - the protagonists of X/1999, they fight in the defense of all humans.

Leader:

Hinoto - She is blind, deaf, mute, but she can speak directly into people's minds. A dreamgazer and the sister of Kanoe. She can enter other people's dreams as well as being a dreamgazer.

Members:

Sorata Arisugawa - A lively boy that was taken in by the Esoteric Buddhists in Mt. Kouya, which is in the Osaka district of Japan. His abilities in foreseeing the future by stars rivals his mentor's.
Subaru Sumeragi - Returning from CLAMP's Tokyo Babylon, angry, less controlled, and with his innocence lost. He is the 13th head of the Sumeragi Clan. His main mision is to kill Seishirou. He uses Shinto magic like Seishirou, but in a positive sense.
Yuzuriha Nekoi - An amazingly hyper 14 year-old girl. She is a descendent of the Mitsumine Shrine. She has with her at all times an Inugami, dog spirit, named Inuki who can change shapes at her will.
Arashi Kishu - She is the Kakushi Miko, or the Hidden Shrine Maiden, of the Ise Shrine. She is able to use the ability of the shrine in the form of a sword that protrudes from her wrist.
Seiichiro Aoki - A middle-aged editor, the man doesn't seem like much, other than the fact that he is a windmaster, he can control the air. His nephew is Daisuke Saiki, a weaker windmaster.
Karen Kasumi - A beautiful woman who works in a 'soapland.' She has pyrokinetic powers, which allows her to control fire.
