to watch the petals dancing
from the early morning dew
the heavenly beams of sunlight
forming images of you
to see the water's stillness
with alluring shades of blue
illuminating angelic effigies
reminding me of you
a hushed, peaceful silence abounds
just before the rain comes rushing in
lightning crashes - thunder explodes
all hopes are relinquished in the wind
after the storm I ponder for answers
but nothing my mind remembers
your delicate face above the clouds
