From the author: "The state of frustrated & impotent annoyance is often disregarded as a human emotive thema worthy of consideration, particularly in view of the fact that it, above any other, defines the day-in state-of-being for the average traveler through the Western Tradition.

The assertion itself is one that will, to some, seem to possess a degree of inner validity and a legitimate depth; to others it will seem an inexcusably pseudo-scientific verbal corpusculence, deep only in its capacity to mislead....

Detailed consideration, however, will cause both sides to find the statement, and their opinion of it, to be cracking darkly down unto itself. The statement is ultimately empty, possessing neither real meaning nor definitive, quantifiable wrongness.

It finds termination in an expressive vulgar finality that lends what some might term the essential 'vital quality' of true art; universal impact. Appreciation is not limited to the intellectual... even the layman can walk away feeling insulted."
