One who seems exceptionally attractive from a distance, but upon closer inspection, isn't.

Technically: Appearance approaches ugly, as distance reaches zero.

Example: "Hey, who's that hot chick with Johnny...I mean, who's that chick with Johnny...Who's that...I mean...Hey, I didn't know Johhny was gay."
