July is the time of year when the craving begins.
Maybe it's just the ripening pumpkins in the fields, or maybe the air conditioner cranked up on high reminds me of the crisp October weather. Maybe it's because the coven just held midsummer festival and now it's the Dark Half of the year.
Maybe I'm just insane.
Whatever the case, in July the Halloween bug strikes home and the madness begins. It starts with reading halloween websites and books. It moves into putting up decorations and reminding everyone I know how many days until Halloween in July. The madness continues until the 31st is reached and i hold a halloween in july party. Then it subsides.
Until October.
And then the real fun starts.
