A remix of sorts of
The Future Sound of London's
We Have Explosive. It appears as the first track on their album
Dead Cities, as "Herd Killing".
It also shows up in the Psygnosis PlayStation game Wipeout 2097 (also known as Wipeout XL in some countries), as well as on the soundtrack sold in stores to this game (a wholly unecessary action since all the game's music is available as Red Book audio on the game disc) where it appears as "We Have Explosive (Herd Killing)".
Both this version and the original rely on vocal and guitar samples collected from Run DMC's album Tougher than Leather. Oh, you didn't recognize them? You shouldn't be surprised if you've been listening to FSOL for a while.
The name "Herd Killing" sounds like a reference to cattle mutilation. The track starts off with some odd slicing and animal noises, but no allusion is made to either government or aliens as far as I can tell.
Lyrics:
Huh!
over and over again. deal with it.
