A famous quote by Mark Twain, it reflects the sentiment that schooling never completes one's education, on the contrary, sometimes it interferes with the process of education.
I wish I could say this too. Unfortunately, due to the setup of our modern(?) society, and my inability to break the accepted norms too often, I unwillingly, have let this happen.
