How many of you out there ever read the instruction manual before operating, installing or maintaining a product?

Very few people ever get around to read the instruction manual. This leads to broken or malfunctioning items that had previously worked or should work. One wrong flip of the dip switch or one wrong double-click of an obscure executible file may prove fatal if you haven't read your instruction manual. However, aren't products suppose to be designed in such a way that it requires no manual whatsoever? Ideally, that should be the case. Unfortunately, the human race has not evolved to such an enlightened state of understanding every aspect of every person. This idea isn't that impossible.
