It is difficult to get the news from poems, yet men die miserably every day for lack of what is found there

Six short poems written on six cold days	Where do these girls come from these days? Some finishing school in the desert?	In the old days girls like this sat on rocks in the ocean	Can I get MTV from kissing?
Take a day, plant some trees, may they shade you from me	we meet on the street for the first time every day	Love poem from the monsters under my bed	A month from a skylark, a half from a finch, a little from a wagtail and not a day from a swallow
Some vampires actually get pissed when you tell them to Have A Nice Day	My tongue, every atom of my blood, form'd from this soil, this air,	Men are from Earth. Women are from Earth. Deal with it.	We do more after 2am than most people do all day.
