First appeared in the Letters to the Editor's page of Marvel Comics, these were awarded to folks who gave logical responses to questions that didn't have confirmable answers, most commonly in reference to how super powers worked.
It is currently awarded to those in a circle of friends who can create a common sense answer to wierd and varied queries usually posed while under the influence.
