A coastal
wilderness area in
Humboldt County. It stretches almost eighty miles along the
California coast. This is
North America's longest span of untouched beach on the
Pacific Coast outside of
Canada and
Alaska. The area also includes the
Kings Range National Conservation Area and
Sinkyone Wilderness State Park. Picture miles of black sand beach and beautiful sweeps of sheer cliff. Streams cascade down the mountains to become rivers when fresh water meets salt. Occasionally a whif of
ganja blows down from lush greenery far above.
