| Short-lived musical fad from the late eighties, when the Happy Mondays, Spacemen 3, the Stone Roses and, erm, a few other bands (Flowered Up, anyone) took too much ecstasy in Manchester, UK, listened to too much Acid House, and made some great, lolloping, disco-meets-rolling-stones music.
Was quite nice, until the gangsters rolled in and started making smackheads of everyone. |
