A two-volume set of books by James West Davidson, William E. Gienapp, Christine Leigh Heyrman, Mark H. Lytle, and Michael B. Stoff. A narrative look at history. So boring, though. Nothing like The American Pageant. It provides you with more of an understanding of history than a factual look at it.
