For those of you not in the know - The Great Patriotic War was the Russian/Soviet term for World War II (also known as "World War - The Sequel"). It was created on May 20, 1942 and was awarded to soldiers showing extreme courage, staunchness, and/or bravery.

Consists of a red star with silver rays radiating between the points and crosses with a sword and rifle. In the middles is a white ring with "Great Patriotic War" writen in Russian that surrounds a silver hammer and sickle.
