My favorite
album of his is
Pleasures of the Harbor. I cannot
scratch up any information about the date of release, since (like most of my favorite stuff)
no one else seems to have thought much of this
effort. It's
out of print, I guess. But it was around the same time as
Rehearsals for Retirement, if I'm not mistaken.
I'm always a sucker for a lovely voice and lots of orchestration. The title song was a gem, and can be found on some "best of" compilations.
Only the good die young.
