Reverie in front of a Moving Car

I am dancing through the intersection
staring up into
the high blue sky
of sound absorbant cracks

and I am listening to the traffic
to the musical noise
and at the center of the vortex
is a still thin sound

and I refuse to look around
at where I'm going
my eyes are fixed
on a cloud as it dies
