Yeah,
them was the days...
back when we was younger, kid,
remember dat, Jack? That was when we formed this
here 'sclusive circle over here. We was drinkin
up at that
shitty dump near Grove, me 'n Tom -
remember that, Jack? And we was
sick of people
lookin' at us funny cause of the the way we was
carryin' on, and hasslin' us cause we was talkin'
too loud, and we was confusing the hell out of 'em
- remember that, Jack? We was tryin' to
analyze that
damn
You-lisseez book, (Kid, you read dat when
you grown up an' you be set. You got's to be
edjicated). Well that damn bartender spilled
a beer on me book, was me only copy so we was pretty
riled up and then this fella Tom and me didn't
know walks over, remember Jack?
Of course Jack remember, it was his own sorry self.
Now Jack here is a smart fella - ain't that so, Jack?
and he p'posed we join him, he was gonna
start up his own sorta 'stablishment,
like and we'd gets to make the rules and look funny at
people and yell at them for actin' funny n' shit, right?
Where's a body ta get any money; that's what I
hadda know, buster. And I said that to 'im - 'member, Jack?
You like to damn near exploded in my face! (An' you
know t'warn't legal back then an shit to
offer them services we was gonna be offerin'). But
I done tole Jack that if he wanned my support (and you
know he din't want nothing but my scary big-ass-self
to scare them that was chicken-livered, dontcha?)
So I done tole him I was in on it if he could find the
dough, aight?
So Jack and Tommy and I, we was headin' back to
Tommy's trailer and Jack sez, (you was a feisty chap
back then, wasn'tcha?). Yeah, Jack sez there's this
chap followin' us, and we turn aroun and goddamn us
all if t'aint one of them drunken fools what don't know
how to read nothing more than 'Curious George goes
to the Bar'. (You ain't gonna be one of 'em men, son.
You'se gonna get an edjication).
But anyhoo, he's another fella who wants in, and
we figger we can use all the menpower we gots.
Only, we ain't sure we can trust 'im, so me and Tom and
Jack, I wonder why we trusted Jack an' not this other
damn fella? Anyways, we tole him to come back the nex
night and we be meetin' him out back behin' the shed.
We was figgerin' to beat him bloody and shit, test how
strong his balls was an' how badly he wanned in,
and like say how he'd reckon on reactin' if he was caught.
Hell, we just was gonna have some fun, and Tom, and Jack
(remember, Jack? You was rarin' ta have a go at him). So
come the nex night and it's black as hell out there and
we got's some booze and Tom brung his damn book
agin, an' we
was drinkin' an' shit and then this fella, 'is name was Vinny, (remember Vinny, Jack?) So he shows up and first
Jack has a go at 'im and he don't be sayin' much, the
fella, just gruntin' and we was sayin' HUSH and Tom was
grinnin' and readin' and then it was my turn, see? (remember
Jack? You was grinnin' like a fool and tired and Vinny, yeah,
he was Vinny an he was just a lyin' there where you left 'im,
'member?).
So I'se balls deep in this guy's ass dat night and he turn
to me and ast for a kiss. Damn, I sez to him.
What a fag. You still want in? Well, Tom was
still readin and Jack had passed out so I gave 'im a dang
kiss - hell, we coulda used him. You still want in? I sez, Hell yeah he tole me. Hell, we did use him,
he stuck aroun' a long time, Vinny did, and ya know? He never
tole nobody, 'cause you know
I had me reputation to keep wit' dem boys, yeah, he
'spected that an he ain't
never tole Jack until Jack came outta that damn closet or
whatever new-fangled shit they callin' it now.
An' hows dat for a bedtime story, kid? You sleep good now.
C'mon, Jack. Let's
go get sumpin' good ta eat before this rascal's momma
gets back home.
