Son of the famed
Jazz musician
Thelonious Monk. Following in his father's footsteps, T.S. became a musician, however, instead of being a
pianist he chose to be a
drummer. He released his first major album,
Monk on Monk, in
1997 which featured T.S. playing Thelonious' tunes. T.S. then released a
fusion album in
1999 titled
Cross Talk.
Time will tell if he ever lives up to his father's legacy.
