You've probably heard of
Gnuttela. It's that
nifty,
distributed, combination
search/
download program. Like
napster, but much
niftier.
It has several features, not least of which is one which lets you monitor ongoing searches. This is Important, as...
It opens up a Source of Fun.
Introducing....
- Install gnutella.
- Go the search monitoring screen. Set the number of searches displayed to something like a 100, so that the whole list is filled.
- Things should be going along pretty quickly at this point.
- Your goal is to double click on search items so that they pop up in the actual search box.
Scoring:
0.5 Points - Search items _not_ for pr0n.
1 Point - Search items containing "mpg", "mp3", or any other well known audio/video format.
5 Points - Search items for as of yet unreleased audio/video.
10 Points - Search items for religious material.
Game times last a set length (1, 3, 5, or 10 minutes). Points are additive - if you get a non-pr0n mp3 search, it's 1.5 points. Those with the most points win.
