Labrador that is host to a massive
nickel,
copper and
cobalt deposits. Voisey's Bay was originally settled as a sealing town, and is between Nain and Davis Inlet.
The development of a mine to extract the nickel has been stalled due to political maneuvering over development, concerns over
mining and the environment, and native grievances.
