| Twin brother of Tomax (the brother without the scar), a personal assistant to Cobra Commander and head of the Crimson Guard. Xamot and Tomax are believed to have been born into a mafia on either Corsica or Sicily. A family feud led the brothers to leave their home and join the French Foreign Legion. As mercenaries, they fought in the bush wars of Africa and South America, and worked as assassins for the CIA in Vietnam.
The brothers started an international bank, financing illegal arms shipments and a number of coups. Impressed by their skill in handling shipments to Destro's arms research facility, Cobra Commander offered them a place in the organization.
The brothers share a psychic bond which allows them to communicate telepathically. It also causes one to feel pain when the other is hurt, and often results in the brothers finishing each other's sentences...
