A Jewish carpenter, preacher and philosopher, born about 4 BC. He had some beautiful ideas about love and non-violence, but they got blown way out of proportion. Some of his friends and advisers spread stories about him, which became mixed with the popular paganism of the Romans and later the Celts to form what we now call Christianity.
