Zytrec is a
prescription antihistamine that I have found to be very
effective. It's active ingredient, Cetirizine
hydrochloride, is an orally active and selective H1-receptor
antagonist. The chemical name is (±) -
-1- piperazinyl ethoxy]acetic
acid, dihydrochloride. Cetirizine hydrochloride is a
racemic compound with an empirical
formula of 2HCl. The molecular weight is 461.82
If
it wasn't for this stuff I would spend most of the winter curled up in a
sneezing ball.
