A girl who is into art. Often times artsy chicks have a Daria-like attitude, are smart, or have atypical interests.

In high school I was termed an artsy chick. Ate lunch in the art room with a Vegan friend, skipped classes and hung out in the art room when there wasn't an art class, and belonged to Art Club.

Artsy chicks sometimes make their own clothes, wear combat boots and/or peasant skirts.
