Short for "distribution", as in Linux distribution. Some examples are Debian GNU/Linux (heh heh heh), Slackware, Red Hat, and SuSE. If I've left your favorite distro out, then TFB; all flames go to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\null.vxd or some such place.

Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton era were tough on some American kids, punk and hardcore were
tainted by the music "business," and many of the people who ran distros and labels are now in debt.
