a neat little global positioning system (GPS) made by Garmin. Currently one of the cheapest models, and a good starter unit for most newcomers. With a 12 channel reciever, and memory to holds 500 waypoints, the eTrex makes for a nice unit to carry around with a laptop. The unit interfaces with the Delorme Street Atlas, the Garmin Mapsource MetroGuide, as well as a number of shareware programs.
