Intel's much-hyped P6/GTL+ chipset, released in Q4 1999. Features include Rambust Direct DRAM support, the 133mhz bus - offically, and UDMA/66 hard drives.

This chipset is Intel's latest excuse for a motherboard upgrade, and does not provide much functionality over their old school BX chipset, which it is supposed to replace.
