Mel*lif"lu*ous (?), a. [L. mellifluus; mel, mellis, honey (akin to Gr. , Goth. milip) + fluere to flow. See Mildew, Fluent, and cf. Marmalade.]

Flowing as with honey; smooth; flowing sweetly or smoothly; as, a mellifluous voice.
