| In many, many video games, this was an enemy who was more trouble to kill than the average peon badguy, but not so much to make you destroy your Nintendo in anger. In the old game Metroid, Kraid and Ridley were mini-bosses (of unusual power, as far as these guys go) that you had to fight before getting to the final boss, Mother Brain. |
