MP4, or MPEG-4, is a set of standards for audio and video compression developed by the Moving Pictures Expert Group (MPEG). The MPEG-4 standard is in the final stages of development and release, and is a much more ambitious standard by addressing speech and video synthesis, fractal geometry, computer visualization, and an AI approach to reconstructing images.
