The game that is packaged with a video game console. Although rare with the latest consoles (PlayStation, N64, etc...), the pack-in game used to be important to the success of a console.

Atari and Mattel usually had terrible pack-ins. (Combat, anybody?) Nintendo and Coleco were known for their awesome pack-in games.
