sketch an echo.
draw a tune.
a song to go
with the pencil's flow.
I know it's hard
to go that way,
but I must say
it's necessary.
I need that echo-
that repeated portion-
a scorch of torchlight.
paper's thrusted,
busted flat and broken blind
inside.
but that echo of tune
from your hand on the paper
is my escape from
cheaper, cheated desires
and the torch's fire.
please sketch an echo.
