The British way of saying television. As opposed to the American 'TV'. You don't know happiness until you hear a cute British lass say "Look what's on telly!"

A muppet in Children's Television Workshop's Sesame Street. Has red fur, feather-light long hair atop his head ( why? he's already covered in wooly stuff ) and a bulbous, teardrop shaped nose, often tweeked in the past. Largely eclipsed by elmo in recent episodes.
